Do you live with someone who has Alzheimer's

I didn’t until this year when I move to NY to help my day with my mother who is in the beginning stages of Alzheimer’s. My Mom currently has short term memory loss and that does get irrupting as she asks the same question about 50 times an hour or so it seem and the answer is always the same.

I have found a great place to shop online at the Alzheimer’s Foundation eStore, when you make a purchase all of the proceeds go to the Alzheimer’s foundation and their programs. While finding a cure to Alzheimer’s is important making those with Alzheimer’s comfortable is also important. So are you looking for some holiday gift shopping well kill two birds with one stone and shop at the Alzheimer’s foundation eStore and make a purchase, those Proceeds will go towards helping someone with Alzheimer’s have some quality care and it will also help to find a cure for the disease. Don’t want to make a purchase or can’t find that special holiday gift then make a donation to them it all helps in the long run.

Quality care what is it? Well to me Quality Care is a form of life. If a person can not do something with out help there quality of life go’s down until they get that help. Here are a couple of examples for Quality of life for a person with Alzheimer’s. (1) A Person with Alzheimer’s is forgetful (true) what if they forget to take their medications. Their quality of life decreases now they have someone to help and they get their medications their quality of life gets better. Another Example of quality of life can be with the shower or bath. If a person can not get a shower or bath with out help the quality of life go’s down now with help it go’s up, the same thing could be for eating or cooking.

So if you can help those out with Alzheimer’s and do some holiday gift shopping, or make a donation. Both links are with in the text

Have a good day.
